2. Hosting and access to this website
This website is hosted and delivered through ChatGPT Sites by OpenAI. When the website is accessed, the hosting infrastructure processes technically necessary data. This may include the IP address, date and time, the requested resource, referrer, browser, operating-system and device information, and technical log, usage and status data.
The processing is carried out to provide the website securely, reliably and efficiently and to identify technical faults and abusive access. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the secure and uninterrupted operation of this business website.
The processor is OpenAI Ireland Limited. OpenAI may engage further contractually bound sub-processors for hosting, infrastructure and security. Further information is available in the ChatGPT Sites Data Processing Addendum and the sub-processor list.
Processing outside the European Economic Area cannot be ruled out. OpenAI states that relevant transfers are based on an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, in particular the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. ChatGPT Sites does not guarantee data residency in a specific country.
Data is processed only for as long as required for delivery, maintenance, security and support. Longer retention takes place only where required by law or where data is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
This website uses strictly necessary technologies and—only after your explicit consent—the Google tag for Google Ads conversion measurement. Google Analytics, personalised advertising and remarketing are not configured.
The hosting and security infrastructure may use strictly necessary cookies to deliver the website securely. Private access may also require platform login and session cookies.
Access to the user’s device is based on section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG because this technology is necessary to securely provide the service expressly requested by the user. The associated processing of personal data is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
If you consent to Google Ads measurement, the Google tag AW-415016027 supplied by Google Ireland Limited is loaded. The data processed may include the IP address, browser and device information, referrer, page viewed, timestamp, consent status and advertising-click identifiers. The purpose is to measure whether an advertisement resulted in a visit or contact enquiry. The legal bases are section 25(1) TDDDG and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
The tag uses basic consent mode and is loaded only after you consent. Before you make a choice, or if you reject the optional technology, this tag does not transfer data to Google. Advertising personalisation remains disabled. Recipients may include Google Ireland Limited and affiliated companies, in particular Google LLC in the United States. Google states that relevant international transfers are based on applicable adequacy decisions and appropriate safeguards. Further information is available in Google’s Privacy Policy and the information about Google’s use of data from partner services.
You can change or withdraw your consent for the future at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer. On withdrawal, Google Ads cookies accessible to this website are deleted and the page reloads without loading the Google tag again.
4. Contact by email or telephone
If you contact the business by email or telephone, the contact details and content you provide are processed in order to handle your enquiry. For project-related or pre-contractual enquiries, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other business enquiries, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is the proper handling of the enquiry.
Enquiries are deleted once further retention is no longer necessary. Statutory retention duties and storage required to establish, exercise or defend legal claims remain unaffected.
Business email is handled through kontakt@luebeck-engineering.de, a Microsoft Exchange mailbox provided through IONOS. IONOS SE and Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited may process sender, recipient, content and communications metadata. Processing by other affiliates or sub-processors, including outside the European Economic Area, cannot be ruled out. Further information is available in the IONOS Privacy Policy and the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
